Batang Padang is an administrative district in Perak. This district is administered by two local councils, namely, the Tapah District Council, based in Tapah, and Tanjung Malim District Council, based in Tanjung Malim.

Lata Kinjang |

One of the highest falls in the region, Lata Kinjang which means 'cascading falls', is a truly magnificent sight. This multi-tiered waterfall cascades for an amazing 850 m. with one particular tier as high as 100 m.
To get to Lata Kinjang which is visible from the North-South Expressway, exit at Tapah and head towards Cenderiang. |

Lata Iskandar Waterfalls |

Located on the way to Cameron Highlands via Tapah Road, Lata Iskandar Waterfalls is a popular stopover point.
Its multi-tiered cascades gracefully flow into clear pools at different levels. Also here are restrooms, food stalls and a colourful handicraft bazaar that sells Orang Asli crafts.
Nearby is Kampung Kerayung, which is known for its traditional pottery. |

Orang Asli Village |

The Batang Padang district encompasses several areas inhabited by the 'Orang Asli' community. Literally translated, the terms means "original people", attesting to a long-standing history in this area. Visitors will find some of these villages in the vicinity of Iskandar Waterfall and Kuala Woh. The main source of income of the Orang Asli is from the sale of traditional handicraft, as well as fruits such as durian and other forest produce including petai.
The Orang Asli (Aborigines) wood carvings make good souvenirs for those at home. For the visitors' convenience, a canteen, public toilets and changing rooms, six caravan bays and camping sites are provided. |
