Hulu Perak is an administrative district in Perak. It is administered by three district councils:
- Majlis Daerah Gerik or Gerik District Council, based at the town of Gerik is the district capital of Hulu Perak.
- Majlis Daerah Lenggong or Lenggong District Council is based at the town of Lenggong.
- Majlis Daerah Pengkalan Hulu or Pengkalan Hulu District Council is based at the town of Pengkalan Hulu, previously known as Keroh.

Tasik Temenggor |
Located in Gerik and covering 15,200 hectares, Tasik Temenggor is the largest man-made lake in Perak. The panoramic beauty of the lake is complemented by the diverse flora and fauna. This enchanting atmosphere is further enhanced by the unique lifestyle of the 'orang asli' who make their homes in the jungles surrounding the lake.
The lake has a rich source of freshwater fish like Kelah, Tenggalan and Baung, which although found here are extinct in other places. This only serves to make Tasik Temenggor a more attractive and important fishing area in Perak. |

Gunung Kenderong |
For those who prefer to go off the beaten track, there is always the challenge of Gunung Kenderong or the 'Twin Peaks of Hulu Perak' The mountain is 4,014 m. high.
